Process gas piping
Natural gas, propane, specialty and lab gas distribution — mains, branch lines, regulators, shutoffs and equipment drops, pressure tested and tagged.
CSLB #1155182 · C-36 Plumbing
Nor-Cal Process Fitters installs, fabricates and repairs the piping systems commercial and industrial buildings run on — sized to spec, pressure tested, and closed out clean.
Who we are
We're a California-licensed piping and plumbing contractor built around one idea: a job goes smoother when the crew doing the work understands the drawings, the equipment, and the inspection ahead of time.
We take off plans, fabricate what we can in advance, and set piping so the next trade can move in behind us. General contractors get a sub who shows up on the schedule they were given. Owners get systems that hold pressure and pass the first time.
Our license status is public record — verify us before you award the work.
Services
Ground-up, tenant improvement, retrofit or service call — piping is what we do all day. If it moves gas, water, air or waste, we can build it.
01
Natural gas, propane, specialty and lab gas distribution — mains, branch lines, regulators, shutoffs and equipment drops, pressure tested and tagged.
02
Domestic hot and cold water, sanitary waste, vent and storm piping for commercial buildings, kitchens, restrooms and lab spaces.
03
Plant and shop air, vacuum and inert gas lines with drops, filtration, isolation valves and clean terminations at each point of use.
04
Process water, DI and RO loops, chilled and heated water lines, pumps, backflow assemblies and treatment equipment piping.
05
Carbon steel, stainless, copper and PVC — cut, threaded, grooved, soldered, brazed or welded, with as much built off site as the schedule allows.
06
Setting and connecting process equipment, boilers, water heaters, tanks and skids, including tie-ins to live systems on planned shutdowns.
07
Full plumbing scope for commercial TI work — plan takeoff through underground, rough-in, top-out, trim and final inspection.
08
Leak repair, line replacement, valve and regulator changeouts, and system modifications for facilities that can't afford a long shutdown.
Every joint gets made once. That's the whole business — clean welds, correct slope, tested pressure, and a system nobody has to open back up.
How we work
You'll know what's happening at every stage, and so will the inspector. No surprise change orders, no scope left dangling at close-out.
Step 01
We review plans and specs, walk the site, confirm routing and give you a written bid with the scope spelled out line by line.
Step 02
Spools, racks and assemblies get built ahead of the install date so field time is spent hanging pipe, not cutting it.
Step 03
We set and support the system to code, coordinate with the other trades, and make tie-ins on the shutdown window you approve.
Step 04
Pressure and leak testing, labeling, inspection support and the documentation your GC or facility team needs on file.
